Basis of Sale

By placing an order, you are forming a legally binding contract with Print For Brands, for products and services, and you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Print For Brands reserves the right to update our Terms and Conditions without notice.

Your use of this Website constitutes your agreement and consent that Print For Brands may communicate with you electronically for all purposes. By registering for an account, you will be able to access all the features of this website, in its entirety. When you register, you agree to provide accurate and current information about yourself (and your company) as requested during the registration process. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your User ID and password. If you believe your User ID/password has been compromised in any way you should immediately change it by logging on to your account and then following the instructions for changing your password. You agree that you will immediately notify Print For Brands in the event you become aware of any unauthorized use of your user ID and password. We take your privacy seriously, and will not share or sell any of your personal information entered on this website.

Orders and Print Specifications

Ordering from the website is a binding agreement. An order cannot be canceled once it is in production. There is a 50% fee if proof is approved and order is canceled.

Orders are printed in their "as submitted" form and the customer is fully responsible for final proof and layout verification and approval prior to submission to the print process. Print For Brands does not make any changes on customer files. Once you submit an order to the print process you are agreeing that you are fully satisfied with the document layout and content and you accept responsibility for any errors therein. Print For Brands will assume that you have verified the spelling, grammar, content and layout, colors, finishings etc. are all correct and it will not accept any liability for errors such as misspelling, graphics, grammar, damaged fonts, punctuation, transparency, overprint, improper layout, bleeding, erroneous cut or fold lines, die lines or crop marks, sizing, etc.

Print For Brands does not provide proofs of any order unless the customer requests it as part of the order process and it is an option available for the product. If you request a proof then it is your responsibility to verify the proof against the original (and to correct any spelling or grammatical errors, etc). If a proof is requested, then your job will not be processed or deemed production ready until you have approved the proof via email. Please be aware that this may impact the job turnaround time.

Price, Payment and Currencies

The fees for Print For Brands products and services, which include the cost of processing, printing, shipping and/or handling, and any other charges applicable, are due and payable together with the submission of an order. Orders in the state of California are subject to state sales tax at the time of order placement. Print For Brands requires pre-payment on all orders in USD. All mailing services and postage related fees must be prepaid. Please note that no orders will be mailed until an approved and signed mailing services invoice is returned from the customer authorizing payment. Any amount due to Print For Brands, which is not paid, may result in non-delivery of the order, and interest charges as allowed by law. Customers are responsible for all related collection costs, legal fees and interest.

We accept payments by PayPal, and 2checkout payment gateways. You may use any major debit/credit card to pay for the order. If required, we can send PayPal invoices to customer email addresses, directly. That is also a legal and binding sale, just like a website purchase

Delivery and Turnarounds

The turnaround time selected by the client begins with complete payment, artwork submission as per our specifications and proof approval(if proof is requested) of our soft proofs. If your job or proof is approved by 1:00 P.M. PST, printing turnaround time begins next business day as orders need 3-4 hours to process. For instance, an order placed with a 7 business day turnaround approved by 3:00 P.M. Monday would be completed and shipped after 3:00 P.M. PST Tuesday. Please make a note that Print For Brand's offices are closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and all Holidays. From time to time, we are also closed for facility maintainence, and it is your responsibility to check our shop announcements or ask us about them before ordering. Your selected turnaround time does not include shipping time and should be taken into consideration when choosing your method of shipping.

Although we make every possible effort to turn jobs around in the estimated times offered, your job may require more time due to unforeseeable or uncontrollable circumstances or finishing services added onto the job. We will not credit customers if a job runs past the estimated turnaround time unless an expedite fee has been charged. Standard turnaround times mentioned on the website are an estimate and NOT A GUARANTEE! If you are in a hurry, please contact us with your deadline, before ordering, so we can upgrade any production/shipping schedule and all expedite fees are paid for.

Proprietary Rights

Unless otherwise noted, all written and/or other materials that are part of our Website, including information, images, illustrations, designs, icons, data, software, photographs, graphs, videos, typefaces, graphics, music, sounds and other material (collectively "Content"), are protected by copyright, trademark, patent or other proprietary rights, and these rights are valid and protected in all forms, media and technologies existing now or developed in the future. Except as expressly authorized or licensed, you may not copy, modify, remove, delete, augment, add to, publish, transmit, participate in the transfer or sale, lease or rental of, create derivative works from or in any way exploit any of the Content, in whole or in part. All Content is copyrighted as a collective work under the U.S. and international copyright laws, and we own, to the fullest extent allowed by such laws, the copyright in the selection, coordination, arrangement, and enhancement of all Content. Our trademarks, logos and other trademarks on our Website are the property of their respective owners and are owned by, licensed to, or, where required, used with our permission, and, as such, may not be reproduced, copied, or manipulated in any manner without the express, written approval of the trademark owner.

You understand and agree that we license photos and other artwork, hereinafter referred to as Images, from various Licensors and/or Copyright Holders. We are licensed to use the Images as permitted in their respective license(s). These Images are used in our design online templates, hereinafter referred to as Templates. You are required to comply with the limitations on how the Images and/or Templates can be used.

Over-Runs and Under-Runs, Borders, Alignment of Finishing options

From time to time our presses may have an over-run of under-run by 5%. This is an industry accepted deviation, and if it is an issue, please order the next quantity up.

If you choose a finishing option, like embossing or foiling, we cannot guarantee a 100% alignment with printing. A shift of 2mm is considered standard and there will be no refunds or cancellations if such an alignment shift happens. Please use finishing options with caution, if alignment is imperative to your printed results, please chat with us with your artwork first, before ordering, so our technical team can advise you about any issues in printing beforehand. In such a case, we will hold your order till new and corrected artwork files are provided. Please note that such file checks are not done, as part of the ordering process. They are only done on case by case basis as per clients requests.

We do not guarantee border printing of any kind. There is a likelihood of a shift of 1/8" with borders due to batch cutting. This is the standard cutting tolerance of our batch cutting machines. If you MUST have a border, please keep it well within the safe zone or avoid it completely.

Color Reproduction, Print and Stock Quality

Print For Brands will meet print industry standards regarding color and quality. The accuracy of each color reproduction is guaranteed to be within a minimum of 90% of the proof aproved. Print For Brands accepts no responsibility whatsoever for color variations between submitted images and the actual artwork or product they represent because of the limitations in printing. Print For Brands cannot guarantee color quality unless a hard proof is ordered(available for some products). All our printing is done using process color CMYK inks, which is the industry standard, spot color matching is not available.

Please carefully consider all our paper and plastic stocks by reading descriptions and checking pictures in our photo gallery. You may also order a sample pack and send us requests of samples you need to see, before ordering. Handmade, natural and recycled stocks change from order to order and paper and plastic quality may vary over the years. We do our best to keep our quality as consistent as possible.

Uploaded content requirements

We are a custom print shop, so we rely on our customers to provide artwork which is print ready. We strongly recommend that content uploaded to printforbrands for print fulfillment is:

At a minimum of 300 DPI at 1:1 ratio (or 100%). Content that does not meet this standard may experience print or images that are fuzzy, pixilated or otherwise distorted for which Print For Brands does not accept any responsibility. We reserve the right to reject content that does not meet this standard, but we do not assume any obligation to verify that the content meets this criterion.

Designed in CMYK and uploaded to Print For Brands in CMYK with no embedded color profile. You may upload in RGB or some other standard if you choose, however, the color will be converted and Print For Brands is not responsible for any inaccuracy or color shift that occurs as a result of the conversion.

Your best bet is to download a design template and follow our specifications or purchase a design from our custom graphic design section.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Print For Brands and its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of the Site, violation of these Terms and Conditions, or other infringement by you, or any other user of your member name, of any intellectual property or other right of any person or entity.

Right Of Refusal

We reserve the right to refuse service or products to any person or organization.
